DinghyGo Sailing Inflatables

DinghyGo is the exciting new range of inflatable dinghies that can be motored, rowed AND SAILED. The integrated daggerboard keel case (not leeboards), and solid mast step with free-standing rig (no fiddly stays to assemble), mean that it performs well and is very quick and easy to set up for sailing.

DinghyGo boats are also great quality inflatables for everyday use, with excellent stability, huge carrying capacity and the ability to plane under power using motors up to 8hp (on the 9ft version).
"She made decent headway to windward (not always the case with sailing inflatables)... a true all-rounder"
DinghyGo is available in two sizes: the standard 275 (9ft) model, pictured above; and the smaller S model, pictured right. At approx two foot shorter (225cm long instead of 275), the S is perfect for sailing single-handed or sending the kids off for an afternoon exploring under sail in the spirit of "Swallows and Amazons".

However the S is still a capable dinghy, able to carry payloads up to 350kg, and take outboards up to 3.5hp.

Both types pack down into two compact bags, making them "the world's most portable sailing craft".
The sailing rig has sectional aluminium spars, such that the packed length is only 125cm (4ft 2" long). So it shouldn't be difficult to find somewhere to store your DinghyGo - whether that's on board your yacht as a tender, inside your motor home, or in your garage, shed (even a large cupboard!) at home.

Above: DinghyGo on the beach, in motorboat mode. Will easily take a family of four ashore.

Right: DinghyGo S is simple to sail, even for quite young children. The immense stability compared to many other small dinghies is reassuring (for children and parents alike). The oars, mounted out of the way on the side-tubes, may come in useful if the wind drops to nothing, or they go too far downwind and tide!

Many UK customers will be reminded of the popular Tinker Tramp and Traveller range - DinghyGo is its spiritual successor. But the sailing rig is much quicker and easier to set up, as the mast doesn't need any supporting wires.
The centre thwart and mast support (at bow) can be left out on days you don't want or need the sailing function, leaving more internal space. (The daggerboard sleeve simply rolls up like a drybag, and sits on the floor.)

A self-bailer is fitted in the transom, to empty the boat of any spray etc you may take on board when motoring at speed.

Also included as standard are: 2x telescopic oars; 4x davit lifting eyes; 2x bow towing eyes (to fix a bridle); foot pump; repair kit; storage bags for the hull & sailing rig.

Options available from us include: kick-up rudder; outboard motors; electric inflation pumps; launch trolley or transom wheels; etc.

Sail with Confidence: DinghyGo's central daggerboard and rudder make for easy and precise handling in close proximity to other boats, mooring buoys, pontoons etc

Perfect Conditions: blasting along on a broad reach!

Our staff have extensive experience in choosing and using small dinghies and yacht tenders, with a strong emphasis on those that are easy to transport and store. We're always pleased to listen to your particular requirements to see how we can help.

At The Portable Boat Shop, alongside DinghyGo, we also sell boats from several other brands including: Nestaway, Nautiraid, Portabote, FoldAway and Point 65. This enables us to prioritise making sure you end up with the right boat - rather than trying to push you towards one brand because that's all we sell!
